New to BridgeChurch

What to Expect

We get that it can be intimidating visiting a new church. To find out more about what to expect on a Sunday morning, check out our "What to Expect" page below, or scroll down to see our answers to people's top questions.

If you're new and looking to get connected, there's no better place to start than Beginnings. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, meet other new families, take your first step to making BridgeChurch home for you, and discover more about our Vision to be a Church for the Valley.

These are some of the most frequently asked questions we get from our Guests, and our answers.

Are you meeting on campus right now?

Due to safety concerns over COVID-19, our physical gatherings are suspended until further notice. Instead, we’re gathering outdoors on campus at 9AM and online every Sunday at 10 AM.

When are the Gatherings?

Our main gatherings are currently every Sunday morning outdoors at 9AM on campus and online at 10AM. Our Deaf Fellowship meets at 11 AM in Building B, room 102 (on Facebook for COVID), and our Spanish speaking gathering Iglésia Puénte meets in Building E at 11 as well.

Sunday mornings we have gatherings for kids 0-12 years old, and our Students in 7th-12th grade meet Sunday nights 6-8 PM.

What happens in a Gathering?

Our Gatherings are times for us to get together as a community, encourage and be encouraged by one another, and learn to discover and follow Jesus together. Typically we begin with worship where we sing a couple of songs together led by our incredible worship team. Then one of our pastors speaks on an important issue or biblical truth and we walk through practical steps on how we can grow both individually and as a church.

If you’re new, don’t worry. You don’t have to sing along and no one is going to single you out. We pride ourselves in being a church where anyone can feel welcome and belong on any given week.

What about my kids?

*Due to COVID-19, our BridgeKids and BridgeStudents look different right now. Check out their respective pages for more information.*

We have amazing gatherings for each specific age group on Sunday mornings for kids 12 and under. Our BridgeKids have their own exciting music, games, and lessons so they can enjoy their gathering while you enjoy yours. We also have a nursery for children 0-24 months and a mother’s room both located next to the main gathering.

Our Junior High and High School Students meet on Sunday nights at 6 PM every week for their own gathering. Many of our Students can be found serving on Sunday mornings and like to sit together in our 9:30 and 11 main gatherings.

What does BridgeChurch believe about _______?

People in our church come from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives, and we enjoy the freedom in Jesus to disagree on many things and still stand together in Unity. We do have a Beliefs page that outlines the core beliefs we believe define us as followers of Jesus.

What is BridgeChurch doing in the community?

Our Vision is to be a Church for the Valley, and we take that very seriously. We partner with many local and global organizations in order to live out that vision and impact our community. We’ve partnered with organizations like Breaking the Chains to combat local Human Sex Trafficking, and have a large Celebrate Recovery gathering on Monday nights that helps people recover from all kinds of hurts, habits, and hangups. We also have our Neighborhood Food Pantry twice a month for our local families in need and offer Griefshare for people who have suffered loss. For a full list of our partners, check out our Outreach page.

How can I get involved?

Your next step is closer than you think. If you’re brand new to our church than Beginnings is a great place to start! You can also find great community in our Groups & Studies or by joining a Serve Team. We’d love to have you here on Sunday, but we know where you’re going to experience real-life transformation is in the community of people you build here at BridgeChurch.
